Jesus Christ kept the Law

By Prophet Jacob R. Blandford

You’ll need a King James Authorized Bible for this study.

The Hebrew Bible (the Christian “Old Testament”) has three divisions according to Jewish orthodoxy and the Lord Jesus Christ Himself (see Luke 24:44).  They are: the Law, the Prophets, and the Writings.  Sin is described as “transgression of the law” in 1 John 3:4.  And our Lord was sinless according to the very next verse (1 John 3:5) and Heb. 4:15, 7:26 and 1 Pet. 2:22.  Therefore we can certainly say Jesus Christ kept the LAW.  Some would define that as the Torah/Pentateuch/Five Books of Moses, but a broader definition is what the Lord Jesus Christ Himself and the Apostle Paul gave us... in John 10:34, Jesus Christ described the Psalms or Writings portion of the Bible as the “law”.  And in 1 Cor. 14:21 Apostle Paul, described the Prophets division of the Bible as the “law”.

Therefore, when we say the Lord was sinless (and never broke the “law”): we are saying He not only kept all of the Law of Moses, BUT ALL OF THE OLD TESTAMENT, INCLUDING THE WRITINGS AND THE PROPHETS!

99.99% of Christians don’t know this material.

Also, compare 2 Tim. 3:15-16 with Rom. 7:14.
